In 2004, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Rainbow hues of simple panes of old stained glass windows cast pools of light throughout the church. The large white ash cross at the altar was the gift of a parishioner. Seasonal flowers picked from local gardens, fields, and roadsides beautify the altar.
