The interior of the Mountain View Community Protestant Church is recognized as a distinctive Adirondack chapel architectural style, with natural tongue and groove Douglas fir wainscoting. In 2004, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Rainbow hues of simple panes of old stained glass windows cast pools of light throughout the church. The large white ash cross at the altar was the gift of a parishioner. Seasonal flowers picked from local gardens, fields, and roadsides beautify the altar. A brief social gathering with refreshments follows each service.
